Mentoring Process

  1. Case assessment: Records and case assessment started as new thread

  2. Case acceptance or referral: Case accepted as suitable to treat – Plan finalised or referred – unsuitable for mentee to treat

  3. Proceed to treatment: Photos taken at the end of each visit for uploading by the mentee.

  4. Treatment assessment: Mentor checks and prescribes for next visit until case completion

How do credits work?

Submitting a case on the forum will cost 4 credits, if the case is unsuitable the credits will be refunded. Alternatively, a 1-2-1 online 90 minute webinar can be exchanged for 5 credits.

Credits roll over each month, however, they will be lost once the subscription is cancelled. Previously submitted and accepted cases will still be mentored until completion regardless of cancellation.

  • Registered dentist with GDC or equivalent.

  • Anytime, that’s the beauty of the Online Orthodontic Academy, you will have instantaneous access to the videos, and can log in to the next available webinar and submit cases straight away. No waiting around for cohorts to start.

  • 4 credits can be used for a case submission and acceptance and 5 credits can be used for a 90 minute one-2-one webinar. The case will then be mentored until the completion. As part of the comprehensive course you will get 10 case submissions included as well as 2 one-two-one seminars.

  • Yes, this course is available worldwide, just a good level of English is required as well as a dental degree.

  • No they roll over, as long as you are still subscribed. Any unused credits will be lost after cancellation. However, ongoing mentored cases will be supervised and mentored until treatment is complete.

  • I will mentor your cases to completion, you will still have access to the forum, but you wont be able to submit any new cases.

  • Yes, the cost of additional credits is £80 per credit.
