Meet the Speekers

Over the years I have developed a number of interests largely related to education and training and I enjoy a portfolio of roles which currently include Registration Assessment Panellist for the General Dental Council, Author, Coach/Mentor, Owner of Dentalia Consulting and Training Consultancy, Trustee of the Dentists’ Health Support Trust and Trustee of the NHS Retirement Fellowship

I retired from the NHS in June 2011 to set up Dentalia and pursue a greater diversity of projects. The coach/mentoring I provide is for dental professionals and is either in the field of leadership development, career development or to assist with remediation action plans.

My doctorate is in Medical Ethics and I enjoy many aspects of ethical application including professionalism, reflective practice, honesty, practical philosophy and wisdom.

I was awarded an MBE in the 2007 New Year's Honours List for services to dentistry, and a

Fellowship of the Faculty of General Dental Practice by election in March 2010.
