Dr. Devang Patel
Devang is a Visiting Lecturer in Restorative Dental Practice at University College London (UCL), King's College London, and Brighton and Sussex Medical School. He is also the best-selling author of Full Mouth Reconstruction for GDPs and Restoring Dental Implants for GDPs.
Since graduating in 2004, Dr Patel has built a successful career as a general dental practitioner with a special interest in restorative, aesthetic, and implant dentistry. He completed a full-time MSc in Restorative Dental Practice at the Eastman Dental Institute with distinction, receiving a postgraduate award for outstanding clinical and academic achievement.
His clinical expertise includes the management of advanced tooth wear, full-mouth rehabilitation, implant-supported restorations, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. He is recognised for his patient-centred approach, combining technical excellence with clear communication to deliver predictable, long-lasting outcomes.
Alongside clinical practice, Dr Patel is a passionate educator, teaching postgraduate dentists at UCL Eastman Dental Institute and other leading institutions. His teaching focuses on occlusion, restorative treatment planning, implant rehabilitation, and the management of complex restorative cases, helping clinicians develop confidence in delivering comprehensive patient care.
